WhatsApp Scraper & Contacts Extractor – MSTSOFT is designed solely to help users extract and export contact information that is visible within their own WhatsApp Web account for personal or professional contact management.

The extension operates only on WhatsApp Web and works with data that the user already has access to. It does not modify WhatsApp functionality, intercept private communications, or access message content beyond what is required to identify contact numbers for export.

Contact Data

• The extension accesses contact names and phone numbers visible on WhatsApp Web

• This data is processed locally within the user’s browser

• Contacts are exported only when the user explicitly chooses to download them.

• No contact data is transmitted, stored externally, or shared

License Verification Data

• The user’s own WhatsApp phone number may be used solely for license validation

• License verification communication is encrypted

• This data is not shared, sold, or used for any other purpose

The extension uses local browser storage only to:

• Store license validation status

• Save user preferences (UI settings, configuration options)

• Temporarily hold extracted contact data during the active session

All stored data remains on the user’s device and can be cleared at any time. No personal data is stored on external servers.

Tabs Permission

Used only to identify the active WhatsApp Web tab so the extension can operate correctly. The extension does not read browsing history or access unrelated websites.

ActiveTab Permission

Allows temporary access to the currently active WhatsApp Web tab when the user interacts with the extension. No background or persistent access is granted.

Scripting Permission

Required to read user-visible contact information from WhatsApp Web and enable contact extraction functionality. Scripts run only on WhatsApp Web and only when initiated by the user.

Host Permissions

Limited strictly to WhatsApp to enable contact extraction from WhatsApp Web. No other websites are accessed.

The extension does not sell, rent, or transfer user data to third parties

• Contact lists and extracted data are never uploaded

• No analytics, tracking, or profiling tools are used

Reasonable technical and organizational measures are implemented to protect data processed by the extension. All operations are executed locally, minimizing exposure risks.
